Background: Male law enforcement agent following bite by a trained attack dog during training exercise on left hand and fingers. Procellera was applied post-operatively.
Outcome: Improved wound closure was observed, and officer returned to full duty.

Case #2
Background: 8-year-old male following attack by a dog. Upper lip completely severed. Lower commissure partial avulsed segment. Two layer sutured repair with absorbable suture. Parents advised of a high risk of infection. Penicillin allergy –unable to use first line choice of antibiotic. 4 days IV antibiotics were administered prior to discharge.
Outcome: Procellera® used from day 4 and continued for several weeks beyond wound healing, with improved cosmetic outcome.

Case #3
Background: A 51-year-old male presented with trauma with a utility knife on the index finger of his right hand, leaving exposed bone.
Outcome: Procellera was applied and full epithelialization over bone was noted, with growth of new epidermal ridge at month 1.
